My good friend, pianist Jana Luksts, is performing the premiere of my solo piano piece "As above so Below" at Ypsilon in Thessaloniki. I composed this piece in 2011-2012 when I was studying composition with Michael Finnissy. Hence, I am happy to share the program with Michael's "Strauss-Walzer", George Aperghis's "À Tombeau ouvert" and James Erber's "You done torn your playhouse down". I am really impressed with Jana's artistic commitment to such demanding music.
